Every one of us is a child of God, and we teach all of our children and youth this foundational truth beginning with baptism.
Because we are a small community, we are able to involve children and youth in all aspects of church life. Our children/youth are invited to lead music as part of our virtual services and/or offer a reflection, prayers, or help with "Time with Children."
We offer a "Time with Children" most weeks as a time to deepen our faith. Check out this video featuring guest Rev. Whitney Fauntleroy reading Undefeated by Kwame Alexander and Kadir Nelson.
In these stay-at-home times, our church participates in a "Clarendon Challenge," to involve children, youth, and those young at heart. We have hosted a cooking and movement challenge, a Biblical Lego Storytelling Challenge, and we are currently working on Wear A Mask-Love Your Neighbor Challenge.
Currently, parents and youth are gathering to learn and practice anti-racism work. For more information please contact Pastor Alice Tewell and Rev. Blair Moorhead.
