About Spiritual Direction From Alice
Spiritual direction is about developing that quiet yet purposeful attention to the Holy Spirit moving in and through and within our beings.
The spiritual director is not an instructor, but rather a guide, creating intentional space through listening, conversation, and other spiritual practices for the directee to experience God.
My philosophy of spiritual direction is that we are all deeply connected on this journey of life together; we help each other discover and live into God’s divine being embedded in every part of creation.
Through spiritual direction may we discover that each person is sacred, created in the image and likeness of God. Through spiritual direction, may we be each other's spiritual companions so that we may focus on God who is the spiritual director of all.
